So, I just finished up looking at the Vuitton collab with Jeff Koons and I am sad to report that I am not a huge fan.. The Mona Lisa backpack (as shown below) is the only half way decent thing I see. The worst part being, I'm a HUGE Koons fan. So this is undoubtedly disappointing news to me. Having grown up a member of the "arts", I LOVE when fashion reaches out to people outside their industry. Marc was famous for bringing in artists to help mold and shape Vuitton's look. Keeping the brand fun and cool. Whether it Stephen Sprouse, Richard Prince, or their previous golden child Takashi Murakami.
     This collection will sell, because of they are both power houses. But sadly, it did not hit me the way I wish it had. My opinion could change (the way it did for the Supreme collab) and probably will. After seeing something more and more I tend to trick myself into loving it.
